Production of microbubbles at the highest quality level

Our ultrasound diagnostics use microbubbles made from a special material. These have already been successfully tested in the laboratory. However, in order to be able to use them in clinical studies and on patients, we need to produce these microbubbles in larger quantities and to the highest quality standards. In collaboration with Chiracon and ExMI, we are scaling up production from laboratory scale in Aachen to industrial, pharmaceutical production in Luckenwalde. We ensure that production is reproducible, the samples are sterile and the microbubbles are stable and can be stored under suitable conditions. This end product will be further examined in the next steps in order to apply for official approval and enable its use in patients.
